This advanced Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (BAIID) prevents a vehicle from starting if alcohol is detected on the driver’s breath. Ideal for both personal and fleet vehicles, the ALX3000 ensures every driver is fit to drive.
These products come with many of the same safety and protection features as the PowerVerters but are also designed to detect faulty batteries and dead cells. They will also ensure that they will not operate unless the source battery is attached to a charging source such as a vehicle alternator or mains unit. In this way, you can ensure that the charger will not allow unintentional draining of the source battery.
How it Works
A driver must pass a breathalyser test using the ALCOSCAN ALX3000 handset before the engine can start. If alcohol is detected above the legal limit, the ignition is disabled.
