Company Directors

Eddie Smith, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Eddie Smith, Managing Director

During his formative work experience as an auto electrician at Komatsu, Eddie saw a niche in the market for quality products at reasonable prices. “The mining and construction environment is harsh and rugged, and the industry simply cannot afford sub-par quality, and even more it needs sound warranty back-up and technical support.” Focusing on this premise, Trysome was born.

Eddie’s self-funded approach to growth has fast-tracked Trysome into a substantial group of companies with its success built on people, which Eddie describes as Trysome’s biggest asset. Add to this, excellent stakeholder relationships, an ethical ethos, the continual search for new and innovative products and solutions, and the principle of never resting on one’s laurels, and the result is the awesome Trysome Group of today.

Trysome has fulfilled a dream, but Eddie is quick to point out that growth opportunities still abound in Trysome’s quest to Deliver Optimal Uptime to the markets it serves.
