Prevent damage from over extension of tray
The new Muirhead® Fatigue Tray Angle Kick Out system is designed to prevent damage to trays by limiting the raised tray angle. With the ability to install larger capacity trays to Haul Trucks the chances of damage to trays or other equipment is increased.
The tray kickout system is designed to allow aftermarket trays to elevate to a specific point to dump the payload material.
The system includes an angle sensor at the pivot point of the tray that will indicate to a panel in the cab that the tray has reached the pre-determined angle.
The tray angle sensor also monitors truck inclination and ensures that the tray elevates to a specified set point to ensure complete unloading of the payload material.
The lift circuit is isolated and the tray can then be lowered. The angle of raise is set to ensure for complete unload, if not there is an override switch fitted to allow for times to raise further.
The tray angle kick out is simple in design and easy to install. The solid-state technology allows for minimal maintenance.
